Kovaceski Music has announced the debut of ‘REVIVAL’, a brand new album featuring international artists who’ve reimagined a collection of previously released songs. International artists had the opportunity to choose from 130 songs from Kovaceski Music and then translate the original lyrics from Macedonian into languages from around the world.

The cover for ‘REVIVAL’ was created through a meticulous creative process. The artist behind the work, Lasko Dzurovski, said, “My idea was to illustrate a situation called ‘when the cubes match’, or rather, artists from different countries, different climates, different cultures fill songs that build connected cubes(scales) in the circle that unites us all. One of the cubes shows an open eye as a symbol of an open view of the world and the music that unites it.”

According to Klime Kovaceski at Kovaceski Music, the thought of putting lyrics to one of his most beautiful pieces of work was one that lingered for years. Kovaceski Music has brought that dream into reality with the release of a French version of one of its most beloved songs, “Nicola”, with the help of Egyptian songstress Donia Anis.

“Nicola” made its debut on the Kovaceski Music album ‘DUALITIES’ with two different versions from Alia Fay without lyrics.

“I have avoided creating lyrics to this song since the early 90s,” says Kovaceski. The lyrics have finally been penned, in both English and French, and the song re-named to “Nicolas”.

Donia Anis was given the option to create her own version of any Kovaceski Music song. Out of a list of more than 100 songs, Anis chose “Nicolas”. She said, “After listening to lots of amazing songs by the talented Klime Kovaceski, ‘Nicolas’ crossed my screen, and it didn’t take me any time to realize that this is the one. The music, the mood changes and everything, I fell in love with it! One of the greatest instrumentals I sang on!”

‘REVIVAL’ features renditions of “Sparks”, “A Call”, “Sources”, “Fate”, “Illuminations”, “Shadow”, and several other Kovaceski Music songs that have been translated into languages including Macedonian, English, French, Turkish, Greek, Polish, Ukrainian, and German.
