Emmanuel Chari’s Encounter With Legendary Actors Led Him To Write A Hilarious Book On Happiness
In his new book, ‘BE HAPPY NOW, Discover The Simple Steps to Life Liberty and The Pursuit of Happiness’, Emmanuel Chari gives an insight into some of the most essential, but sadly missing elements in the pursuit of happiness, especially these days with the pandemic chaos all around the world. He includes scientifically proven concepts, real life experiences and hilariously funny stories, not only shedding light on the subject, but also giving the reader a laugh out loud experience throughout the book.
Having been brought up in a family of 7 boys by a single mother, he shares not only the importance of the pursuit of happiness, but also how he learned the state of being truly happy, regardless of the circumstances!
He recounts in detail, how as a young boy growing up in the ghetto, he stumbled upon a film set where he found himself in the company of such legendary icons as Denzel Washington and Sir Richard Attenborough filming a movie project right in his neighborhood!
Emmanuel Chari also quotes notable sources that he used in his quest for the truth behind achievement of true happiness. These include excepts from documents like the famous US Declaration of Independence by former President Thomas Jefferson to the annual Happiness Index indicator with Finland and other Nordic countries as some of the happiest places to live.
The book contains a dozen funny stories that will get the reader laughing all the way to the end. In one particular story, he talks about a family from the countryside visiting New York City for the first time in the olden days. On their first encounter with an elevator, the father saw an elderly woman walk into an open wall and the wall immediately closed and within a few minutes the wall open up again and there walked out a beautiful young lady. Baffled, the son asked the father what had just happened there, to which the father replied, “I don’t know son, but quickly go and get your mother!”
In his book, not only does he share simple steps relevant to achieving the state of happiness, but he also looks at the factors determining one’s level of happiness, all backed by research. This includes a study by a Professor at the Carnegie Mellon University that shows how one’s spouse has a lot to do with their level of success and happiness in life.
